यमराज और बुजुर्ग औरत


एक बार की बात है एक बूढ़ी औरत अब की मृत्यु हो गई वह बहुत ही सत्यवान और दूसरों की मदद करने वाली थी जब उसे यमराज लेने आए तब उसने यमराज से पूछा की यमराज क्या मैं स्वर्ग में जाऊंगी या नर्क में तो यमराज ने कहा आपने बहुत ही अच्छे कार्य किए हैं इसलिए आप प्रभु के चरणों में जाएंगे वह बूढ़ी औरत बोली मैं स्वर्ग और नर्क के बारे में बहुत सुना है कृपया आप मुझे स्वर्ग और नर्क दोनों को दिखाते हुए ले ले जाइए । यमराज सहमत हो गया और वह बूढ़ी औरत कर ले कर चला गया जब वह नर्क में पहुंचा तो यमराज ने कहा यह नर्क है उसने देखा कि यह बहुत से व्यक्ति भूखे दुबले-पतले हैं और खाने की वजह से या बहुत ही कमजोर दिखाई दे रहे थे और उसने देखा कि एक बड़े से कटोरी में खीर के पकवान हैं जो अत्यंत ही स्वादिष्ट है जब बूढ़ी औरत ने वहां एक व्यक्ति को पूछा स्वादिष्ट खीर का आनंद क्यों नहीं लेना चाहते तब वह व्यक्ति कहा कि यह कटोरी की ऊंचाई बहुत है हम उस तक नहीं पहुंच सकते यमराज ने कहा माता चलो लेट हो रहा है जब यमराज उसे लेकर जा रहे थे तो वहां यमराज बोले कि माता या स्वर्ग है उस बुजुर्ग औरत ने देखा कि यहां सभी व्यक्ति हंस खेल रहे थे और सब भी मस्त और तंदुरुस्त दिख रहे थे यहां पर भी एक वैसा ही कटोरे में खीर भरा हुआ था जहां नर्क में भरा हुआ था जब औरत ने कहा कि आप लोग तो इस कटोरे में खीर का आनंद नहीं ले आते होंगे क्योंकि आप बहुत ऊंचाई पर है तभी वह व्यक्ति कहा कि कि हम हमने यहां स्थित पेड़ पौधों को काटकर एक विशालकाय सीधी का निर्माण कर के हम उसमें चढ़कर खीर का खूब आनंद लेते हैं तभी हम राज ने कहा की नरक में भी पेड़ पौधे हैं पर कोई मेहनत करना नहीं चाहता इसलिए सब भूखे हैं
 
इससे यह शिक्षा मिलती है कि हमें कर्म करना चाहिए चिंता नहीं करना चाहिए।
